Get Involved

Creating a Strong & Active Community
A strong community requires involvement and participation from its citizens and businesses. Community participation is encouraged and valued by the city's civic leaders. Joining an organization or a committee is a great way to get to know your neighbors and your city. If you have been around awhile, perhaps now is the time to contact that group that you have always wondered about or to do something different. Attend council meetings, join a city committee, or volunteer to help with one of our special events.

Benefits of Getting Involved
If you are looking for a way to be a voice in your community, then getting involved is the thing to do. By getting involved involved you can:
  • Advise the City Council
  • Have a bigger role in how Ranson operates
  • Help shape the future of our community
  • Provide valuable service to your fellow citizens
