City of Charles Town, West Virginia
Seven (7) of the 15 brownfields in the Commerce Corridor are in Charles Town, and the City of Charles Town will play a major partnership role in the Commerce Corridor effort providing City staff and volunteers, participation in assessment and cleanups, and strong support for sustainable economic revitalization.

Jefferson County NAACP
Will continue its role in organizing neighborhoods in the Commerce Corridor through community meetings, door-to-door outreach, participation on the Council, and written/web communications. The NAACP will continue to advocate for improved park, recreational and community spaces in the Commerce Corridor.

Jefferson County Development Authority
Will continue to recruit small businesses into the Commerce Corridor.

WV Region 9 Regional Planning & Development Council
Will support Ranson and Charles Town in obtaining public and private funding for mixed-use and business development in the Commerce Corridor.

American Public University System
Will continue to develop its high-tech educational campus in the Commerce Corridor.

Northern West Virginia Brownfields Assistance Center
Will provide grant funding and technical assistance, including supporting community organizations.

Charles Town/Ranson CORE (Center Cities One Renewal Effort)
Will continue its central mission of recruiting businesses, supporting public improvements, and sponsoring cultural, community and entertainment events in the Commerce Corridor and downtown.

Interfaith Housing Alliance
Will focus on the removal of blighted structures and the development of affordable workforce housing in the Commerce Corridor.

Boys & Girls Club of the Eastern Panhandle
Will involve youth and families in outreach to the community on the project, and in celebrations of progress.

Other key stakeholders in the Commerce Corridor include:

African American Community Association of Jefferson County, WV Dept. of Environmental Protection, Jefferson County Commission, Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce, Ranson Convention & Visitors Bureau, Charles Town-Ranson Merchants Association, Hagerstown / WV Eastern Panhandle MPO, Gateway New Economy Council, several local business owners, several brownfields property owners, WV Governor Joe Manchin, Senator Robert C. Byrd, Senator Jay Rockefeller, Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito, WV Senator John Unger, and WV Senator Herb Snyder.
