The City of Ranson is accepting sealed bids for the construction of the 3^rd Avenue and S. Mildred Street Transportation Enhancement Project, which consists of new sidewalks, curb and gutter.  Bids shall be received by the City of Ranson, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV 25438 by June 14, 2012, at 2:00 p.m.  The City will award the bid to the lowest responsible and qualified bidder.  The project is partially funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the WV DOH Transportation Enhancement Program.  Complete bid documents and project manual can be obtained by downloading the documents from http://cityofransonwv.net/workforbid.  A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for the following time and place for bidders to familiarize themselves with the project conditions, the site and other relevant information:
